There is a saying that goes, “Good friends listen, great friends understand and real friends help you move!” Well, when it comes to “Real friends” I don’t think I could have picked a more ripe and organic bunch than my girlfriend Cece and her 3 kids. So I wasn’t going to tell anyone I was moving for the (no exaggeration) 19th time in my life. I felt bad for having my friends take time out from their weekends to help the permanent crisis mode chick. I was going to slyly get some boxes and just do everything in 10 trips using my Toyota Corolla…yeah, but my girlfriend Cece had other things in mind. She called me and said, “Hey woman, I heard you are moving. The kids and I are helping you. I am bringing boxes and tape and you can’t stop me. See you Wednesday.” This amazing woman homeschools her kids. She kept her kids in late on Monday so they could finish all their work early and could help me move. They all showed up bright eyed, cheery and ready to bubble wrap all my little Tiffany boxes and Friends DVD’s. This sweet little family reminded me that real friends switch things around and don’t hesitate to shed some body sweat to remind you that you are loved and cared for. I also thought about how blessed these kids are to have a mom who is daily showing them what it means to be a real friend. So I made this cutie patootie homemade Thank you Card for the fam. I used my cricut to cut out the die cuts of “Merci” and “Gracias.” I used a silver metallic pen to accent the stars and write out Thank you in different languages. I googled different ways to say Thank you. Here is a little lesson for all my friendly fluent peeps:
Cam On- Thank you (Vietnamese)
Danke- Thank you( German)
Tack- Thank you (Sweedish)
Schnorhagallem- Thank you (Armenian)
Thanks for reading friends!
Love you!
